My Inspiration
I have been enamored by robots since I was a child. Movies like The Terminator and Robocop were awesome to me.
However, I always thought of them as a thing of fantasy or fiction. Then, I started seeing humanoid robots
in real life on Youtube. This really caught my attention and awe because I saw that making humanoid robots in
real life was actually possible. For close to a decade I wanted to build my own robot and when I seriously
intended to start building one, close friends told me not to do it because I couldn't afford to do it at the
expense of having a career or business of some sort first. So I set out to first become financially stable
and become an entrepreneur and THEN started building the robot. I have a few small businesses I'm working at,
and I'm far from "all set" financially, but I am working on the robot anyways. Plus, I was able to get my
girlfriend on board by explaining to her that I could receive money WHILE building the robot in the form of
Youtube adsense revenue, pay-per-click ads on my robotics website, and even donations from fans. So with
all of that going in my favor, nothing was stopping me and I finally jumped in and started the robot in 2014.
